Welcome to Robbinsdale Armstrong High School! The mission of Armstrong High School is to inspire and educate all learners to discover their potential and positively contribute to their community. AHS Testing Dates The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) is manda te d by the state of Minnesota. This ass essment helps schools and districts measure student progress toward the state's academic standards. MCAs are important at AHS as they help our teachers and staff measure our students' progress as they continue through AHS academic program. To learn more about MCAs please click here: https://education.mn.gov/MDE/dse/test/mn/ ACCESS Testing for ELL Students Federal and state laws require that English language learners (ELL) students be assessed annually to measure their proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking English, as well as the progress they are making in learning English. In fulfillment of these laws, ELL students in Minnesota are required to participate in ACCESS for ELLs tests. ACCESS is based on the WIDA (World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment) English Language Development standards. All graduation-related information may be found under the "Students" tab Armstrong offers one of the largest Advanced Placement (AP) programs in the state of Minnesota. College credit can be earned in AP courses offered in English, Social Studies, Science, Math, Global Language, Art and Music In 2019, 741 students took 1257 AP exams. 460 students scored 3 or greater on their AP exams, with an overall school wide passing rate of 62%.
